Privacy
Last updated 17 October 2026
Sysette has no cookie, no analytics and no advertising. Your presets never leave your computer. An account is only needed to buy the full version, and holds only what is needed to remember that purchase.
What stays in your browser
- Your library and memory plan, in the browser's IndexedDB storage.
- The parameter map, if you run Calibrate, also in IndexedDB.
- The MIDI ports you picked, in the browser's local storage.
None of it is sent anywhere. Clearing this site's data in your browser deletes it, which is why exporting your
banks as .syx files is the only backup.
MIDI
The browser asks your permission before Sysette can reach your MIDI ports. What Sysette sends to the synth and receives from it goes between your browser and your instrument only.
Your account, if you buy
- Signing in with Google gives us your email address and a user identifier. They are kept in Firebase Authentication, run by Google Ireland Limited, for as long as the account exists.
- Your purchase is recorded against that identifier in Firestore (Google, Belgium region): whether it is paid, the Stripe payment references, the amount and the date.
- Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. processes the payment and keeps the billing details you give it, as its own privacy policy describes and accounting law requires (seven years in Belgium).
The legal basis is the contract you enter by buying. Ask at [email protected] to see, correct or delete your account; deleting it gives up the full version.
Hosting
Firebase Hosting, run by Google Ireland Limited, serves the pages. Like any web host it processes the IP address of each request to deliver the page and protect the service; Sysette adds no logging or tracking of its own. The domain and the info@ address are handled by Cloudflare.
